Kongress Sportwissenschaft und Sportmedizin: call for papers

FISA und Britischer Ruderverband laden zu der Tagung vom 22. - 25. Januar 2015 in Marlow / Themse ein. Wissenschaftliche Beiträge können nunmehr bis zum 26. Oktober (16:00 Uhr Ortszeit) eingereicht werden. Die Anmeldung zur Teilnahme an der Veranstaltung ist elektronisch möglich.

Abstracts should be no longer than 450 words including the title, authors, institutions/organization and subtitles. Please see the guidelines for authors provided on the website (

www.britishrowing.org/ssmconference ). Accepted abstracts will be published in BMC Sports Science, Medicine, and Rehabilitation.  Abstracts should be sent to:

The conference will start with a plenary on Thursday evening with guest speaker Dr Katherine Grainger CBE discussing “the Importance of a support team in a Gold medal performance”.  There will be keynotes from individuals at the cutting edge of Sport Science and Medicine, joint sessions, specialist sessions for specific disciplines and an optional visit to the Olympic Medical Institute in Bisham on the Sunday.  Further information will be added to the Conference's website (www.britishrowing.org/ssmconference).
